Dinners& Things: 4/8-4/14

This week was a unicorn week; I barely cooked.

On Monday I have no idea what even happened, but Watts asked if I wanted to split a tuna burrito at Fishbones and I said, "yes, please."

On Tuesday I made a quick and reliable bacon pasta.

On Wednesday we celebrated Nuala's birthday at her request at Freemans. Dinner was followed by a homemade coconut cake.

On Thursday I made a vegan bolognese that I loved but no one else said whether they thought it was good or not, so I'll probably never make it again. But I also made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and a flourless chocolate cake to bring with me to Miles for his belated birthday.

On Friday I had an all day conference in Boone and by the time I got home I wasn't feeling like cooking and friends were around so we went to Kiosco.

On Saturday we were invited to friends' where they made a delicious dinner and the best carrot cake I have ever eaten.

On Sunday I roasted a pork tenderloin, smashed some potatoes and made the first zucchini carpaccio of the warm season.
