May 9: Steak & Potatoes

 You may have thought I was joking about finding recipes that use Marmite, but I assure I was not. Tonight I made steaks in a red wine butter sauce. The recipe called for Beef broth. I made marmite broth. The boy thought it was soy sauce and then Watts jokingly asked, "did you put Marmite in it?" I couldn't lie. On the side there were potatoes and broccoli. Simple. Straightforward. For Nuala there was tofu dipped in homemade barbecue sauce.
