May 10: Pasta Amatriciana + WORK CAKES

 A few weeks ago I made this to bring to a friend for dinner. There was a small plate of leftovers for Watts who loves this. I forget what happened, but somehow it was left out or overlooked. He's been asking for it ever since so tonight I will oblige.

I brought two cakes into work today to celebrate a colleague's 50th birthday. I made a Chocolate Chip Mocha Cake and an Old-Fashioned Doughnut Bundt Cake. I hurriedly stuffed bites of both in my mouth before I sliced and handed out in earnest because I was worried since I had never made them before, but alas... they were good. If not, I would have made up some story or other. Don't you think I wouldn't!
