April 28: Spaghetti Carbonara & Cauliflower Picatta

 I didn't mean to make two totally distinct dishes. I really didn't, but then before I knew it I was doing it. This Spaghetti Carbonar comes from a recipe from Giada's books Everyday Italian. It's one of my messiest cookbooks that I used a lot in my early 30s when I was newly divorced. It always gave me comfort.This was the second time I made the Cauliflower Piccata. It's a recipe I could eat all of while hovering over the kitchen sink.
