March 23: Black Bean Soup

 When I was thinking about dinner on this day, I knew there would be softball game, but I didn't know there would be storms that would cancel the softball game. So I planned on an easy dinner, but I didn't have to. All that to say I woke up and threw some beans and water and onions and garlic and chipotle peppers and adobo sauce with some cumin into a crockpot and put it on low to cook all day. That plus a bag of chips and a salad will be our dinner later on. All hail the soup of black beans.
