January 23rd: Pork Chops with Brussel Sprouts

 I was going to make a roast, but when I got to the grocery store on Sunday morning the meat section was decimated. Instead I decided on pork chops. They looked healthy for meat and they had their bone in them so I could still roast them. Or bake them with cumin. Like this recipe says. The Brussel sprouts I bought to roast along side turned out to be rather minging. I write this to remember the strange state of the grocery store during a moth where Omicron was surging and snow storms kept arriving. Thankfully we had some broccoli in the freezer that did just fine as a side.
