What We're Eating 15-21 March

 I am sitting here eating leftover picnic pie for lunch. There is a lot more picnic pie at home and since I'm on my own for dinner tonight and tomorrow night I have this funny feeling that I'm just going to eat all the pie. 

Wednesday: It's Saint Patrick's Day and while I won't be making Corned Beef, I will be making some soda bread, a shepherd's pie and something for dessert involving chocolate and stout. I haven't quite gotten there, but I will figure it out. 

Thursday: After last week's turmeric noodles, I'm thinking it will be another noodle night. Thursdays are my busiest work days and it's almost the weekend and there's something inside me that thinks it should always be noodles on Thursdays. 

All the other days:

The week kind of went off the rails. I don't even remember what we ate for most of it. There were creamy tofu noodles. We ate shepherd's pie and Guinness brownies for Saint Patrick's day. On another night I did one of my sweet potato, black bean skillet celebrations. On another night there were braised white beans and greens. On Friday night I made steak with chimichurri and ratatouille. And because I made too much chimichurri, on Saturday we had chimichurri chicken and tofu. 

We ate. Everyday we ate.
